In 2021, I began expanding my role within the design department to include responsibilities as a product developer, focusing on bridging design and production. One of the bigger projects I have taken on was the Bellwood product family, where I played a pivotal role in shaping its development. My primary focus was conducting thorough initial market research to ensure the products aligned with customer needs, conducting user and product testing to identify protentional risks, and collaborating closely with the product development engineer and our team in China to streamline the transition from concept to mass production. Throughout the process, I prioritized maintaining the original intent of the designs while optimizing for efficiency and manufacturability.
